| Bill Holden "One of surfing's greats shapers" dies at age 77
Feb. 3rd we lost a great pioneer and great friend to me, Bill Holden (Holden Surfboards) who passed away at his home from an apparent heart attack. Bill was born Covington, KY May 28th 1930, he always had a fondness for shaping surfboards and making many friends. He was one of the best shapers and made his mark in surfing history, he will be missed! An upcoming paddleout will be May 28th at the world famous, San Onofre State Beach on Bill's birthday. STOLEN SURFBOARDS, Have a story!?!
This is a photos of a thief, Steve Keith McDonald. This guy appeared as a nice guy as he sold me this Royal Hawaiian longboard. It was the first board I had ever owned, so stoked I paid him immediately. This is when I never received the board, a phone call, nothing! Stolen surfboard:
Chubbysurf, I had a long board stolen in Navarre, FL. It was made by "Longboard", and was red and yellow vertically striped. The leash that was with it was too short for the board. Really nice board.
